Untangle Yourself – From this medium level class, we are going to go even further into our bodies here. Twists and binds are the main theme here with regards to bends, folds, inversions and arm balances.
Twists are a great way to open the spine increasing physical body awareness in poses while simultaneously massaging the internal organs for better health.
Binds are a delicate process where you have to find the ‘happy center’ where you apply the right amount of force and effort to get into the pose.
Too much, and stress occurs, too little, and the pose will never happen. Because of this, we are working on specific techniques to calm the mind and body in order to unify them together as we twist and bind to create clarity in the mind.
This class is focused on the mental and physical connection, overcoming stressors in the poses to unlock them, and MOVING in a healthy and dynamic way.
